Mick O’Brien runs Killarney Fishing Tours and the Killarney International Fishing School. He guides and teaches on the rivers and lakes of Killarney, Ireland. All the rods, reels, high quality lines and bait are provided for your day out. Mick has spent his life fishing and can accommodate both individuals and groups alike.

Enjoy a day out fishing on the Lakes of Killarney or take to the many rivers of south west Ireland. Mick provides Fly Fishing, Spinning, Angling, and Pier, Rock and Beach fishing trips. Or maybe a Romantic Tour on Lough Leane is more to your taste…

About Mick

My name is Mick O’Brien. I was born in Kenmare, became a chef in England where I met my wife Irene. I came back to Killarney and opened a guest house, “Anglers Paradise” on the Muckross road and I now live a few miles away in Farranfore.

I am a fully qualified IFSA instructor and I have my own business, Killarney International Fishing School. I teach individuals and any size groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult for safety. I teach on the rivers and lakes and I provide all the rods, reels and high quality lines and bait to my students. I provide rain wear when needed and transport if required. I provide packed lunches and licences at cost price.
